What's Your Cup of Tea? Challenge

I'm looking forward to another Flourishes release tomorrow night. To celebrate the release Flourishes is sponsoring this fun challenge. Here are the details:

"Let's be inspired by the container of your favorite kind of beverages! Can't live without your daily grind or brew? Look at the label and be inspired by the color or layout of the package. Crave your daily Diet Coke? Use silver and red as a color challenge for your card! The sky is the limit with this challenge - so grab your favorite drink and let that creativity flow! If you can, try to take a picture of the inspiration piece as well! "

I was sipping my morning coffee while reading these details , so the coffee container became my inspiration.

I chose the primrose from Flourishes Calendar Set 1 for the focal point and colored it with Prismacolor pencils and baby oil. After cutting it out with Labels 4 Nestabilities, I inked the edges with Smoky Shadow ink. I scored the card base near the bottom and added a little bling which I colored with a Copic marker.

To be honest I think I was also influenced by the weather. Soooo many gray days. Where is the sun? I hope it's shining where you are.

Thanks for stopping by,
Cammie

Supplies:
Stamps: Calendar Set 1 (Flourishes)
Ink:Tuxedo Black(Memento)
Paper: pp(Basic Grey) Stamper's Select White, Smoky Shadow(PTI)

  1. Oh how pretty your card is! I love the blue in the paper and how you matched the flowers to it. Love Basic Grey paper. I'm also new to the Flourishes site and entered the contest to for the 'From the Garden' set. I see you did too. And now a tea set! Between PTI and Flourishes I'll be broke this month but a happy stamper!
