Welcome to my stop on the hop with the following challenge:
"For this month's blog hop we are focusing on office supplies! We want to see you incorporate all of those fun desk drawer fillers into your paper crafting projects. This can include paper clips, binder clips, rubber bands, file folders, staples, binder rings, adhesive labels, post-it notes, index cards or whatever else you can dream up. Reinvent these basic office staples to be hip and trendy additions to your projects! "
My friends and former coworkers are headed back to school in a couple of weeks, so I made a card for the fantastic staff at the high school where I taught for 30 years.
My card layout was inspired by a birthday card by Nichole Heady seen in this post. The front of my card includes a cork strip serving as the mount for the message and some of the new items from July's release. Some staples and a paper clip from my school supplies add a touch of the office.
Inside the ticket sentiment is from Autumn Abundance and the stars from Limitless Labels.
Enjoy the hop!
Supplies:
Stamps:Just the Ticket , Mini Scrapbook Series:Library Ledger, Limitless Labels, Take Note, Autumn Abundance(PTI); A+ stamp(Michaels)
