Old Rockers and RSCC#12

Friday night we went to see Leon Russell. For you, youngsters, Leon Russell was making mega records in the 70's. He made a name for himself as a solo performer after touring with Joe Cocker in the Mad Dogs and Englishmen Tour. It had been over 30 years since we had seen him in concert. The venue was smaller and the audience was for the most was much older, but it's good to see people of all ages still having a good time and enjoying good music.
The rest of the weekend, we've been enjoying the cool weather, not typical mid July weather here. I have had the downstairs windows and french doors to screened porch open. I love fresh air.

Now for RSCC #12 Dawn Mcvey chose caladiums as the source for colors.

Here is my card. Sorry about the photograph. I couldn't get the brilliant colors to photograph well.
The spring moss isn't as vivid in the photo as it really is. And the Scarlet Jewel color on the picnic basket didn't photograph well either. The colors are much more striking in person.

I stamped Vintage Picnic on Vintage cream cardstock. Using the colors of the challenge, I colored with my Prismas and baby oil. The picnic basket is cut out and popped up with dimensional tape. I stamped the sentiment in Scarlet Jewel . The felt flower was cut with Cuttlebug die with a Scarlet Jewel button sewn in the middle. The flower is also popped up. A strip of Hibiscus Burst cardstock and burgundy ribbon finish the card.
Thanks for stopping by,
Cammie
