Today's card is for two challenges.
First, the 2S4Y Sketch 49
Second, the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge this week includes three inspiration photos. I chose this one.
If you've visited frequently, you know I often use gingham on my cards. My love affair with it goes back to my childhood. My mother made my sister and me as well as herself matching dresses, each in a different color of gingham, with a cross stitched embroidered border near the hem. What a lovely trio we must have made! LOL. But still I love gingham .A few years ago I just had to have a pink gingham raincoat, so on our way to Savannah, we had to make a side trip to Charleston where at the second Anne Taylor Loft, I found my prized raincoat. I've decided now I may have finally outgrown wearing gingham, so I'll have to settle with using it on my cards.
Gingham, strawberries, and peonies---signs of spring and summer!
