Welcome! What a fun way to start the weekend; I love visiting the blogs and seeing what you crafty and creative creatures have created. I know you have many blogs to visit, so let's not waste anytime just as we were not to waste items in our PTI orders. Here's some of my recycling. For the first card, I recycled the blue polka dot band around the stamp set Holiday Wishes.
I cut out some snowflakes with a Cuttlebug die, smooshed them in Versamark, and then used Sparkle embossing powder--very simple and quick. I used a sentiment from Holiday Wishes along with the new Vintage Labels--what a great set! I mounted all on white cardstock embossed with Spellbinders Snowflake Impressabilities which is attached to Enchanted Evening base. Another sentiment from Holiday Wishes and a few more snowflakes inside and a simple and serene card is complete.
I like that the paper was wrinkled, giving a more authentic look to the leaves which are completely unrealistic looking since stamped with the large flourish from Fall Elegance. I used Summer Sunrise, Scarlet Jewel, and Pure Poppy ink. I stamped the same flourish in Versamark Dazzle (Champagne) on Dark Chocolate cs. The leaves were placed on the card to mimic falling leaves. A favorite fall moment is driving through a shower of rust, gold, and crimson leaves.
And finally, a picture from a hike I took yesterday.
Enjoy your visits tonight and may you find some stamping time this weekend!
