Woohoo! Honorable Mention!

(Click on photo for larger image)

Early this morning as I was sipping that delightful and oh-so-necessary first cup of coffee, I was browsing some of my favorite sites when I saw the Papertrey September Guest Star Stampers were posted on Nichole Heady's blog. Of course, everyone who enters a card or project hopes to get some recognition. Each time I have entered, I have told my husband, I don't expect to be GSS, but an honorable mention would be fantastic. Well, this morning, I ran upstairs, yelling "I got an honorable mention! I got an honorable mention!" My dh was very happy for me, but he doesn't really understand what it is like to have Nichole Heady recognize your work among the entries of so many talented women. I made him go downstairs, and see it on the computer.
While I was pleased with the garland, I was not happy with the pictures I took of the wreath. I took them on a rainy morning because I didn't think I would be able to get the pictures and enter them later. I just couldn't get a photo that was light and bright.

As you can see I stamped different images and sentiments from Fall Elegance and the cut with Labels 4. I sponged the edges with Antique Linen. I cut the leaves from Fall Elegance and attached with dimensional tape to the labels with sentiments. Between the labels I attached leaves cut with Cuttlebug die that had been stamped with Background Basics:Text Time.
While I used the garland on a wreath for the pictures, at Thanksgiving I think I'll use it on my large gold framed chalkboard where I like to write a quotation.
Thanks for stopping by,
Cammie
